Location: Northwest Kauai.
This large male was relaxing on the sea floor just south of
Polihale Beach Park in about 4 feet of water. He was very
curious about me and the underwater camera, and slowly came right
up to me to check it all out. You can distinguish male turtles by their large
prehistoric looking tails.
